Each Central Georgia Cyclist ride has an announced date, time and starting location. Most rides will have route maps with distance, pace and "style" (training/recreational/social) announced.

Bring money, food, drink, spare tubes, adequate clothing, and a helmet. HELMETS ARE MANDATORY. For any ride over 4 hours, we will usually have at least one store stop and we will generally have 1 or 2 pee breaks during a ride, the first is usually an hour after departure (please be discrete). Please show respect to the communities we ride through by not littering.

Ride two abreast at all times, especially when first departing. Obey all rules of the road (red lights, stop signs and the yellow line). We may go single file from time to time for safety or other reasons. We'll make every attempt to create a safe ride; nevertheless, you ride at your own risk.

For any ride (other than training pace rides), we will make efforts to ride together; however, if you ride away from the group, it is your responsibility to KNOW YOUR WAY BACK HOME! (You did remember to print the route map?) Refer to Maps.Google if you need detailed road information.
